Front Wheel Diary

Constructing the front wheels for the road locomotive demands a blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern engineering. The wheel rims are turned on a lathe to achieve precise dimensions. The spokes are then cast before being assembled into the wheel hub using hot rivets & a pneumatic gun. The completed wheels undergo rigorous testing to ensure strength, balance, and proper alignment before vulcanized rubber is added .
